JOB DESCRIPTION:
A growing Katy law firm is seeking an entry-level law clerk to join its practice. This position is ideal for current law students or recent law graduates. The position will work under the direct supervision of an Attorney. Qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate strong dedication to immigration law and a passion for helping people; will possess strong legal writing, written and verbal communication, and time management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of an Attorney, the Law Clerk will become familiar with the laws related to immigration
Conduct legal research and write immigration-related documents
Prepare and submit legal documents and applications for a variety of immigration cases
Assist our Attorney with case analysis and to draft petition letters

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
BA or BS Degree
Excellent writing and communication skills
Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
Able to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred
Experience in immigration dealing with USCIS preferred
