Required skills:

·Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iseries platform, utilizing dynamic SQL, temporary and temporal tables, convertRPG code to sql stored procedures, commitment control, procedures, table functions,UDFs, performance tuning, logging and exception handling.
·Expert SQL stored procedures development experience in db2IBM iseries platform. Please note that t his is a MUST. If a candidate just has embedded SQL and RPG experience, Client will not move them to an interview.
·Able to read RPGIV,RPGLE,RPGFree programs, embedded SQL
·+Conversion/modernization experience from RPG to SQL stored procedures in db2 IBM tools such as Aldon,RDI, Client etc
·+Application development experience interacting with front end using RESTAPIs, Json,XML
· + exposure to python, microservices, VS code IDE development
